The main goal of Vin Con and SVS Robotics, Inc. is to not only with the contract from BEST Robotics, Incorporated, but to exchange ideas and technology with other companies involved in the same quest and to gain the support of our community. In the Spring of 2011, SVS Robotics, Inc. adopted a company from Monroeville Junior High School who were competing in the Black Belt’s robot competition for the first time. We corresponded with the company throughout its planning process, offering suggestions and recommendations along the way. To assist them with items for their table display, our employees sublimated dog tags, bookmarks, and huggers with their company logo for them to give away in their booth on game day. We also made a picture frame for them to display their team picture.
Vin Con, as well as SVS Robotics as a whole, is dedicated to making the community a better place for all to live. Whenever a problem arises in the community, SBS employees are there to help. SVS has reached out to some employees from Theodore High School and invited them to our facility to share our work experiences.
This year’s many mentors and associates attended Industry Night, at Davidson High School. Those in attendance were enthralled with the information that was shared by the presenters. This event enriched the enthusiasm that was building within the company.
We are planning a visit to a nearby elementary school to introduce Robotics and to demonstrate our robot. A field trip to the Monsanto facility in Loxley is planned so associates can see what is being done in our own area in the field of bio-genetic testing on crops. |
